Initial ideas
Below is the storyboard we used to plan the making of our film sequence.
Below is a prezi including some of the history of film noir's. We did this to help us understand the genre and this also meant that we could refer back to this throughout making our sequence to get any ideas and to ensure that we were giving a true representation of the genre.
Below you will find a summary of the institution of film noir's this was to help us understand the industry and how our film could possibly fit into this. We looked at studios and production companies to get an idea of how to create and present our titles.
Below you will find a mind map of all the conventions of a film noir, this helped us stay true to the genre and include typical conventions of a film noir that an audience will be familiar with. This helped us stay focused on the typical things in film noir's so we didn't get too carried away and include things that aren't usually found in this genre.
Below is some research we did into they type of audience film noirs have. This helped us in putting an age rating on our sequence and also the type of things we can include in the film.

In this meeting we each decided who would complete the audience, conventions, history and institution. We decided that:

Meeting 2
In this meeting we discussed different ideas for our piece. We each put forward some potential plots for the sequence. Once we had all of our ideas we selected what we felt was the best idea to use for final piece.
This is a treatment sheet and this shows in a little detail our idea we decided to go ahead with.
The 8 screen analysis was completed to help us further our knowledge of film noirs and the title sequences. This gave us more options to use in our own sequence.
